The cross is a scandal to all our sensibilities of what God is supposed to be like. Remain at the cross and pray as Jesus interacts with the two men crucified with him.

We now travel the last part of Jesus’ Passion journey up the hill to Golgotha . . .

Jesus soon stands before Pilate, likely bruised and disheveled from the blows he has received. “Are you the King of the Jews?” Enter into this scene in prayer.

This Holy Week we walk with Jesus on the last days before the cross. Today, pray with the story of Peter in the courtyard.

You are in the room when the Sanhedrin interrogate Jesus. As you pray with the story, what will you notice?

Join Peter, James, and John as they accompany Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. 

Jesus enters Gethsemane in great distress and anguish. Accompany him and his friends in prayer. An imaginative prayer exercise.

Return to the Upper Room one more time to enter into the scene with Judas and Peter; watching, listening, noticing Jesus. 

Sit with the disciples at the Last Supper, watching Jesus as he passes the bread and the wine, listening to him say, "This is my body, this is my blood."
